The New BC Cancer Agency Centre for the North: A Welcoming and Inviting Environment

The new BC Cancer Agency Centre for the North has been designed to complement the University Hospital of Northern BC and the neighbouring community. Great care will be given to the look and feel of the entire site, particularly with the use of wood. The landscaping and the building have been designed with the community in mind.

The new cancer centre will have a medicinal healing garden and a rooftop patio area for staff, patients and families.

Clear signage highlighting the entrances along Lethbridge Street will welcome patients, staff and visitors to the new facility.

The main reception area will be immediately visible upon entering the main lobby through the two-storey high entry.
